Blank+Jones score highest new entry on australian dance charts
There comes the summer. well at least in australia. while in most parts of the world the winter is just around the corner, on the other side of the world people are getting ready for that beautiful part of the year. as miracle cure was a favourite all over europe during the summer it seems just logical that the release in australia was moved to november so everyone could enjoy the fantastic tune in the sun over there as well. now, with exclusive new mixes, the firts results are amazing. this week blank + jones enter the official australian dance charts with the highest entry. of course we will make the new funky electro mixes also available worldwide in your favourite download shop soon, so stay tuned!

After the huge success surrounding their ninth artist album The Logic Of Pleasure and single Miracle Cure that features the famed and distinguished vocal's of New Order / Joy Division's Bernard Sumner, Blank & Jones return to Soundcolours to drop a second release taken from the album, California Sunset.
Blank & Jones AKA Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones first hit club land over ten years ago with the smash Sunrise'which saw the duo propelled into the forefront of the trance scene. Since then, the guys have produced, mixed and remixed some of the biggest records from the scene, with many releases scoring highly in the charts in their native German homeland.
California Sunset is an epic slice of euphoric trance. With a rolling break down and gentle build-ups, this track illustrates its title perfectly. Martin Roth duels with Blank & Jones for a mashup of the original, providing a funked up prog house rhythm, whilst Audionatica turn in two deep minimal cuts, the second one produced jointly with fellow Swiss DJ Producer, C Stafferi. New Single "California Sunset" - Out Now!
Blank + Jones return with California Sunset, the second single from their top selling album The Logic Of Pleasure. The first mix available on Beatport comes from Martin Roth with Blank + Jones on a prog tech-trance tip. For the more minimal tech-heads, the complete bundle features the Audionatica and Audionatica & Claude Staffieri mixes, the minimal masters from Switzerland! After long two years of waiting since their last hit single „Catch“, the brand new single „Miracle Cure“ hits the stores and online shops around the world.
The Single features no less then the legendary Bernard Sumner of NEW ORDER/JOY DIVISION on vocals. The band has written music history with their songs, (Blue Monday) and is one of true Music legends of the world. Recently they were covered by the very famous US R&B singer Rhianna.

After 4 long years of waiting since their last Electronica masterpiece "Monument", it’s time for the long awaited follow up. It took over 1 Year of studio work to create the brand new album "The Logic Of Pleasure". It will be in the shops on June 6th worldwide on CD and Download.
The new single "Miracle Cure"‚ features the living legend Bernard Sumner on vocals, better known as the singer of the group NEW ORDER and member of the legendary JOY DIVISION. finally the wait is over! unbelievable, it´s really now 4 years since the release of our last full album "monument". but we promise, this spring the wait is over. we are ready to release a new album and single. thank you for your patience, we hope that we can reward you with an amazing new trip into sound. of course we invited some very fine guests to join us in the studio. we will present the new single at this years annual MIDEM conference in Cannes (France) together with our fantastic guest vocalist at the end of january. we also have the first dates for an early preview of the album blocked in 2 of our north american homebases: on the easter wekend we will play in San Francisco´s RUBY SKYE and on the saturday in Chicago´s VISION (march 20/21). the following week we will hang out (as everybody else) in Miami for Winter Music Conference. shows in Miami tba soon. stay tuned
