"celebrate the 80s in style"
... was the idea when Blank & Jones started their so8os [so eighties] project two years ago.
Since then the two kids of the 80s searched countless archives
for the original master tapes of the legendary long versions of this colourful decade.
Every new release is passionately awaited by their big worldwide fanbase.
2011 was also a special year in the history of this series.
After they curated artist editions for Ultravox, OMD, Kajagoogoo
and Heaven 17 they enterd the german sales charts
in early september with their Hubert Kah so8os collection.
Now, to round up this fantastic year, "so8os Vol.6" hits the streets
in October and presents once again an exclusive mix of legendes like
Frankie Goes To Hollywood, New Order or ABC,
but also brings you hidden gems which you haven't heard in a long time.
The main focus is on the joy and fun that this music still provides today.

Kept in the authentic vinyl mix style for the real 80s feeling,
